Tasmia is currently enrolled in a M.Phil program of Defense and Strategic Studies at the Department at Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad. Earlier, Tasmia was actively involved in Student Politics at QAU during her graduation from the same department. She was also a part of University of Lahore based think tank ‘Center for Sustainable Research Practice’ in their two national summits. Through her work as a student activist, Tasmia hopes to continue her efforts in supporting the struggle for restoration of the Student Union and empower democracy via strengthening the local bodies. Tasmia has primarily engaged with research focusing on the social problem of Pakistan and is determined to continue her learning with a solution oriented approach which leads towards sustainable peace.
