YP343-NA-42 Tribal Area-III Asfandiyar Safi

Asfandiyar Safi grew up in an area near Pak-Afghan border, where the education sector faced consistent setbacks due to state obliviousness to invest in education infrastructure and destruction caused by terrorism. At the same time, the area is even deficient in the provision of basic life necessities. Despite all the challenges, Asfandiyar managed to complete matriculation and secured admission in one of the most prestigious colleges in the region, Islamia College Peshawar(ICP). His journey to make a difference continued, and Asfandiyar was able to secure admission into LUMS, which is undoubtedly a prestigious and competitive school in the country. Asfandiyar has earned an award in local cricket for exceptional performance. In the summer of 2018, he attended a summer school at NUST, which allowed Asfandiyar to polish a number of competencies such as public speaking, presentation skills, leadership qualities, and adjusting to different environments. Asfandiyar Safi is looking forward to this once in a lifetime opportunity  – 17th YPP to achieve his academic and career goals. @AsfandiyarSafi
