MEMBER PROFILE YP305-NA-125 Lahore-III Danish Tariq
Danish has been working as a Youth Advocate for the last nine years, focusing on Meaningful and Inclusive Youth Participation, Informed Decision Making and Policy Advocacy. While he is getting his Masters degree in Governance and Public Policy, he held the FP2030 Focal Point position selected by the Ministry of National Health Services, Regulations, and Coordination, Government of Pakistan. He has experience drafting policy frameworks and recommendations propositions at the national and regional levels. He delivered a joint CSO statement addressing discrimination against SRHR of young people and adolescents at the 45th Session of UNHRC. In addition to this, he also worked for the Universal Periodic Review in 2016, in which he drafted and submitted the CSOs shadow report of Pakistan’s review of the human rights records to the UN OHCHR. He is a member of the Youth Standing Committee on Youth Affairs.
