Shafia is a young linguist and budding writer, recently graduated from Institute of English Language & Literature (IELL), University of Sindh. Being a secular humanist & a democratic free thinker, she considers her efforts as a medium to be vocal against all social taboos, odds, stigmas & extremism to liberate & educate our society & transform it into a more accepting & safer place, & cultivating more liberal values & approach in our young generation. Her vision is to spread necessary awareness regarding Humanism, Mental Health Disorders, Animal Abuse, Secularism, Feminine health & rights, sex education, Identity Crisis, discriminately assigned Gender Specific Roles leading to misogyny & mass manipulation through bias dominant discourse construction against marginalized groups supporting religious & political monopolies. She’s been trying to contribute to society for the last four years as a community service volunteer. Currently, she is serving as the core founding member in a community organization named Serve Humanity Together. She expects YPP to assist her in being a better changemaker & polish her skills by making her voice get heard as she aspires to be a community leader to make our society extremism-free & adaptive according to contemporary world requirements. She is a member of the Youth Standing Committee on Human Rights.
