Rahat Hameed belongs to Jahania, Khanewal. She has done her MSc and MPhil in Pakistan Studies from Quaid-e-Azam University Islamabad. Her dissertation topic was “Feminist Resistance in Poetry of Fehmida Riaz.” Rahat’s academic areas of interest are Gender Studies and Cultural Studies.
