Sarvat Iqbal belongs to a village from Okara District Punjab. She began her early education from her village’s Government School and finally completed her M.Phil in History from Department of History and Pakistan Studies Punjab University, Diploma in International Affairs from the Department of Political Science Punjab University. International Relations, Pakistan Movement, Foreign Policy and Electoral Politics in Pakistan are her areas of interest in History. She has also won the Punjab University Library Book Lover award 2014 on account of reading the most number of books and making maximum use of the Punjab University Library. She has had the opportunity to present her research papers, in International Conference “The Punjab History and Culture” under the title of “China Pakistan Economic Corridor impact on Punjab”, “National Conference on National Integration and Cultural Assimilation, under title of 18th Amendment Reflection of National Integration. She also worked with Akhuwat Foundation and Pakistan Qaumi Zuban Tehreek as a volunteer. She wants to make a positive contribution of impactful magnitude for her country. She is a member of the Youth Standing Committee on Higher Education.
