YP050-NA-50 Area-XI Muhammad Irfan Khan Wazir

Muhammad Irfan Khan Wazir, born in 1996, hails from District South Waziristan, Wana. He received early education from Waziristan and graduated from Forman Christian College Lahore in Economics and Political Science. His interest areas include economics and particularly institutional economics and identity economics, how rules and norms impact growth and how identity creates economic opportunity or excludes one from participation. He also has interest in studying how the state can play a progeressive role to ensure equal participation in economics and politics without any discrimination on the basis of gender, sex, religion and language etc. He is a member of the Youth Standing Committee on Finance Revenue and Economic Affairs.
